Buy of the Year 2013
I have previously elected Buy of the Year, and in 2013 I think my iPad was my best buy:
I had sworn I would never let any "apples" into my home, but in January last year I bought an iPad and I have loved it since. I mainly use it to read on, because now I can sit in the sofa in front of the fire place and read my blogs on Bloglovin' and it is super cosy. Much more cosy than to sit alone in my office in front of my computer. The result is that I'm almost never behind with my blogs and never buy magazines any more. I surf on Etsy and keeps an eye on my own shop's statistics. DH uses it for his work when attending committee meetings and son had a hard time understanding he could not steel it with him when he moved. So it has really made a difference.

That's awesome! Any purchase that benefits the lives of all the members in a family is usually a really good one. I adore my iPhone to no end, but Tony is the big Apple fan in our house. He's been using their products for most of our life together now (and is convinced I'll end up with an Apple laptop at some point - who knows, maybe I will, but hopefully not for a long time as I so adore my new Lenovo that I got in December).

Yes, I also think it was worth the money, since we are all using it all the time. But I am sure I'll stick to my pc. ;)
