I am cheating on my husband ...

when I'm home alone!!!

There I got your attention for sure! :)

I am, but the thing I'm sneaking to do when I' m home alone in January and February is to listen to vintage Christmas music! I miss it SO much! I can't help it - I simply have to have more of those romantic tunes from Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Bing Crossby, Doris Day, etc. etc. And if I finally got caught I'm sure dear husband would grin broadly and shake his head. He knows I'm Christmas Crazy.

I have lots of vintage Christmas music, both on modern CD's and also on vintage vinyl, here is a lovely LP with Santa's face all over. The music is Bing Crosby but the record is so scratched that it can hardly play. I just use it for decoration.

  1. Sanne-I might take one of those free month subscriptions from you. You can email me at either of the email addresses you have, thanks. You are a darling!

  2. And how funny you listen to Christmas music now. I LOVE Christmas music (vintage of course) and I cannot get enough of it during late November and up until xmas. But, for some reason, that day after, I am done with it. I simply do not want to hear it or crave it until the next year around our American Thanksgiving (in November). I must be a fickle or 'fair weather' xmas friend!

  4. You have a fine collection of imprinted and colorful LP's. I am jealous! I never find them here. And yes, Christmas music should be played any time of year.

  5. -> Flaurella, thank you. I collect everything you know, and cannot resist special and decorative LP's. Normally I say all things Christmas are only for December, but I love the music so much that I have to hear it some extra months.
